Our client, residing in Casatenovo, just outside of Milan, Italy, is seeking a Live-in Nanny to assist with the care of their 6 children. The children are aged between 1 and 10 (5 of which will be in school most of the day).You will be working alongside a team of staff: 2 Housekeepers, 1 Butler/Driver and 1 House Manager/Cook/Driver.Responsibilities include:Coordinating weekly schedules for the children with other staff membersPreparing nutritious meals, snacks and purees for the younger children when requiredCleaning and tidying the children's quarters and supervising housekeepersGiving the children a bathArranging play and activities for the children, including but not limited to developmental, educational, social and appropriate outdoor activitiesWashing and ironing the children's clothes and occasionally their bed linen, cleaning their shoesWardrobe management, including labelling of clothes, pack/unpack etcAll nursery duties including putting away the children's toys, tidying their bedrooms, changing and making their beds, sterilising bottles and toys etcDropping off and collecting the children from nursery/school /activities if requiredSupervising homework and reporting to employer on school/nursery mattersFacilitating and encouraging friendships between children and their respective class matesTaking the children to doctor's and dentist's appointmentsAbility to travel with the family on holidayProxy – parenting and babysitting as required by the EmployerCandidate requirements:English speakingIdeally with a driving license and confident driving in the EUEU passport/permit to work in ItalyExperienced working within a similar positionFlexible to travel when requiredKnowledge of the British CurriculumWorking days/hours:10 hours per day, 5.5 days per week.Accommodation:separate house/apartment close by to the main residenceSalary:negotiable, please present your expectation
