The company supports complex space programs and provides end-to-end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success.Position OverviewSpace Industries S.p.A. is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join its IT team. The role focuses on the administration, security hardening, and resilience of on-premise, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructures, within a high-security and compliance-driven environment (ISO *****, GDPR, NIS2).The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system security, operational continuity, and audit readiness, working closely with internal stakeholders and security functions.Key Responsibilities- Secure configuration, hardening, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments, in line with industry security standards- Patch management and vulnerability remediation, including assessments, mitigation actions, and documentation of security controls- Identity and Access Management (IAM) with least-privilege principles, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and Azure Active Directory federation- Security monitoring and incident response support, integrating SIEM, EDR/XDR, centralized logging, and forensic-ready audit trails- Compliance and data protection activities aligned with GDPR, ISO *****, and NIS2, including audit support and security documentation- Backup, disaster recovery, and resilience management, validating RTO/RPO and supporting Infrastructure as Code practices- Continuous security improvement, threat monitoring, proactive risk reduction, and participation in security awareness initiativesRequired Skills & Experience- 5–6 years of experience as a System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems- Experience with virtualized and cloud environments- Solid background in IT security, system hardening, and compliance- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, IAM, SSO, and MFA- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, logging, and audit processes- Fluent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken- Driving license and own vehicleSoft Skills- High level of autonomy in the role- Strong collaboration and proactivity- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to work in structured, security-focused environmentsNice to Have- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Linux, Security)- Experience in regulated or industrial sectors- Background in aerospace or high-tech environmentsWhat We Offer- 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.- A dynamic and stimulating work environment.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
