contributor role, reporting directly to the Director of Technical Training, you will drive understanding and adoption of SUSE's cutting-edge solutions among our valued customers, partners, and internal teams.You will create key assets for our technical training curriculum, crafting structured learning paths and invaluable resources that truly address the needs of our diverse stakeholders.What You'll DoBuild and maintain technical training assets: develop and update a comprehensive curriculum of technical training materials, covering introductory to advanced topics, to support both product launches and the ongoing training needs of our customers, partners, and internal experts.Collaborate with an experienced team: work closely with our Director of Technical Training and a talented team of Training Architects, Engineers, and content developers within the Technical Solutions Training team to bring SUSE product training to life.Translate tech into training: partner with product engineering, consulting services, and product management to transform intricate technical details into user-friendly training assets that truly resonate with our target audiences.Craft engaging experiences: develop training content in a variety of dynamic formats, including compelling videos, informative graphics, engaging slides, clear textual guides, and impactful audio recordings, all optimized for seamless online eLearning consumption.Become a subject-matter expert: dive deep into nominated technologies, becoming our in-house guru and a go-to resource for the team.Champion quality and consistency: actively contribute to and follow our standardization guidelines for content creation, lab environments, imaging, tools, and content sharing across all training assets.Connect and collaborate: participate in occasional travel to foster strong relationships and collaborate in person.What You'll BringA bachelor's degree, relevant IT certifications, or equivalent practical experience in the tech world.Proven experience in a software technical training role (or similar), with a focus on enterprise-level technology and a track record of developing impactful training courseware for both instructor-led and eLearning environments.A solid foundation and hands-on experience with open source technologies, particularly Linux and Kubernetes.Significant advantage given to candidates with hands-on experience with SUSE products and solutions, particularly in Cloud Native technologies such as SUSE Rancher and SUSE Security.Experience with SUSE Linux products, including Multi-Linux Manager, is also highly valued.Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a natural flair for clear and engaging audio and video content creation.Strong presentation skills that captivate audiences, whether in a physical classroom, virtual classroom or on recorded video.A proven ability to thrive independently and collaboratively
