Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Engineer Location:Pozzo d'Adda, Milan, IT, *****Job Function:QualityRequisition ID:*****Lear For YouWe work hard for the people who work for us.We champion our teams.We foster collaboration, inclusion, respect and excellence.What we are trying to say iswe want to be more for you.We are your path to a better career, a better future, and a better you.Our teams have invented groundbreaking technologies, flawlessly manufactured millions of products and earned a long list of awards.Year after year, we are one of the World\'s Most Admired Companies.Our teams are the secret to our success.They are empowered, inventive and inclusive.Passionate about their craft.Driven to succeed.Because we all understand that we must work together to win.Are you ready for a better career?A better future?About the Pozzo d'Adda PlantLocated close toMilan , thePozzo d'Adda Plantis one of Lear Corporation's key manufacturing sites in Italy.The plant specializes inautomotive seating systemsfor major OEMs and plays astrategic role in European program launches , integrating advanced engineering capabilities with strong quality standards to support Lear's global operations.Purpose of the RoleThe APQP Engineer ensures thatAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)activities for new program launches meetLear and Customer quality & safety requirements— on time and in line with standards.They support thePozzo d'Adda Plantthrough all development phases, transferring knowledge, monitoring quality performance, and identifying risks up to post-launch.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and track allAPQP deliverables , ensuring compliance with content, timing, and customer standards.IntegrateCustomer Quality Requirementsinto DFMEA (Engineering) and PFMEA (Plant).Monitor and report program quality status before SoP, preparing Launch Cards and Quality Packs.SupportSupplier QualityandPlant teamson Control Plans, KPC, Safe Launch (GP12), and audits.SupportCustomer PPAPpresentations and Root Cause Analyses to drive improvements.Ensure full compliance withIATF *****and Customer Specific Requirements.Identify and communicate quality risks during all program phases.RequirementsDegree inEngineering(Mechanical, Industrial or related).3–5 years' experience inautomotive quality, APQP or program launch .Knowledge of APQP methodology, IATF standards, PFMEA/DFMEA, PPAP, and Safe Launch.Fluent inItalian and English , both spoken and written.Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.PreferredExperience in aTier 1 automotive environment .Exposure to OEM quality activities and audits.Familiarity with supplier quality processes and poka-yoke systems.#J-*****-Ljbffr
