Join to apply for the Junior Risk Data & Reporting Analyst, Italy role at IONAbout IONWe are a community of visionary innovators, dedicated to providing pioneering software and consultancy services to financial institutions, trading firms, central banks, governments, and corporations around the world.We strive to simplify the way people work.We do that by providing workflow and process automation software, as well as providing real-time data and business intelligence to help people make better decisions.We are 13,000+ employees, we operate globally with 60+ global offices, and we serve over 4,800+ customers worldwide.We are looking for talented young professionals for the role of Junior Risk Data & Reporting Analyst to enrich Cedacri's Risk Management team.If you love understanding complex problems, building smart tools, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this is the place for you.You'll be part of a dynamic crew, working side-by-side with developers, data scientists, and product experts to bring ideas to life and push boundaries.Your RoleIngest, cleanse, reconcile, and document risk data from multiple internal systems and contributors; maintain data lineage and quality checks.Build and maintain the KRI/KPI library (definitions, thresholds, owners), ensuring consistent use across functions.Design, publish, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and Excel models that monitor key risk metrics and trends.Produce recurring and ad-hoc risk reports for the CRO, management committees, and governance bodies with clear narrative, insights, and recommended actions.Support Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) monitoring: limit/threshold tracking, breaches/escalations, variance and trend analysis.Automate repetitive reporting tasks (Power Query/DAX; light Python for data preparation) and contribute to standard operating procedures.Partner with IT, Operations, Finance, Compliance to close data gaps, align definitions, and follow up on remediation plans.Contribute to stress testing/scenario analysis and to the upkeep of methodologies, glossaries, and metadata (methodology book).Other dutiesWe might ask you to perform other tasks and duties as your role expands.Skills, Experience, and Qualifications RequiredMaster's in Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.Advanced Excel (Power Query/Pivot, functions) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, publishing, access control); basic Python (pandas) and SQL are a plus.Foundational understanding of ERM/RAF, KRI/KPI, and risk reporting principles; curiosity to learn financial-services and ICT-related risks.Strong data quality mindset, attention to detail, and ability to structure messy datasets into reliable reporting assets.Clear data storytelling and presentation skills; ability to translate analysis into actionable messages for non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative mindset and effective stakeholder management across business and technology teams.Fluency in Italian and working English for documentation and interactions.Availability to travel to the company location in Emilia Romagna on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.What We OfferPermanent employment contract.LocationMilan, Parma.Important NotesAccording to the Italian Law (L.*****) please note that candidates from the disability list will be given priority.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionInformation TechnologyIndustriesSoftware DevelopmentReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at ION by 2xGet notified about new Data Reporting Analyst jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
