Continuous Improvement Site Expert

It's more than a job CI Expert's responsibility is to lead Kuehne+Nagel's continuous improvement program (Production System) in alignment with local management team and to ensure the delivery of savings and productivity improvements in our logistics site in Capriate San Gervasio (BG).The CI expert is the key representative and active promoter of Continuous Improvement culture that the site needs to embrace.We are hiringWe are offering a Production System Green Belt position within our Contract Logistics Team in Bergamo area, Italy.The Contract Logistics Production System Green Belt is part of the Production System department and drives Continuous Improvement throughout the business on site level by delivering value to our clients and Operations.Under the guidance of the National Production System Black Belt the Contract Logistics Production System Green Belt manages the delivery of Kuehne+Nagel's continuous improvement program and projects for our Contract Logistics sites of Industrial automotve vertical in Bergamo area and ensures the delivery of savings and productivity improvements.The Green Belt supports operations to progress by improving the capabilities of our People through training and mentorship, using Lean Six Sigma methodologies including the implementation of our Excellence model and a productivity management tool.The Green Belt is the key representative and active promoter of Continuous Improvement culture that the sites need to embrace.How you create impact Facilitates and fosters the Continuous Improvement process, culture and site program deployment across the warehouse.Supports sites in the development of Kuehne+Nagel Excellence levels Supports to implement productivity management tools within the site to ensure consistent measurement and monitoring of productivity Delivers and manages Kaizen activities to identify improvement opportunities throughout the business.Identifies, leads and delivers LSS Green Belt level projects using DMAIC methodology Delivers Yellow Belt, White Belt, Excellence and other CI methodology (5S, VM, 8 Waste, Standard Work etc) trainings .Identifies and contributes to solutions that add value to customers' business.Reports Continuous Improvement Activity in Corporate Tracker tool.What we would like you to bring Educated to Bachelor/master degree standard or equivalent experience Practice-certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant Lean Six Sigma Experience (min. 2 years) Proven background in the delivery of Operational Excellence program and continuous improvement activities.Ability to train others on the different topics of the Lean Six Sigma curriculum Experience in Logistics or manufacturing environment is regarded as a plus Demonstrates a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to energize and inspire others, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must Is process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to translate national level targets to practical objectives at operations level Advanced skills in MS office tools and an advanced level Minitab user.Fluent in Italian and English Job Location is Capriate San Gervasio.What's in it for you By joining the Kuehne+Nagel team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a safe and stable environment, with a strong focus on physical and mental well-being.We offer professional growth and development opportunities, including international ones.Who are we Logistics shapes everyday life - from the goods we consume to the healthcare we rely on.At Kuehne+Nagel, your work goes beyond logistics; it enables both ordinary and special moments in the lives of people around the world.As a global leader with a strong heritage and a vision to move the world forward, we offer a safe, stable environment where your career can make a real difference.Whether we help deliver life-saving medicines, develop sustainable transportation solutions or support our local communities, your career will contribute to more than you can imagine.
