Job ID: | Amazon.Com Services LLC - A57EMPLOYER: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLCPOSITION: Legal Counsel IIILOCATION: Sunnyvale, CaliforniaJOB NUMBER: AMZ Position ResponsibilitiesPartner with Amazon's business teams to achieve operational excellence, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, consider legal issues of first impression, and move strategic deals through to completion.Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, ranging from standard contracts to complex, high-value agreements.Provide legal counsel and day-to-day input on contract interpretation to the business team.Provide ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property, technology development, licensing, and other commercial agreements.Resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships.Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm.Compensation: $169,300 to $229,000 per year, plus potential equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of benefits.Visit Amazon Benefits for more information.Basic QualificationsMust have four years of experience in the following skill(s):Experience with transactions at a national or international law firmDrafting and reviewing commercial contractsReviewing laws and regulations and translating requirements to business teamsManaging projects to completion, including working with legal professionals, business clients, and subject matter expertsLicense to practice law in the U.S. or a foreign jurisdiction required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with complex technology development, licensing, and other commercial agreements is preferred.Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.#J-*****-Ljbffr
