3 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is an emblem of Portofino's allure.Our elevated escape is perched in the protected Portofino hills, overlooking the glittering Gulf of Tigullio and charming Portofino.We are proud of our legendary past and continue to visualise our heritage of the future.From La Terrazza - one of the most spectacular restaurants in Italy - to our Pool Grill Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, culinary excellence is in our DNA.For the next season, we are looking for a Bartender to join the team at our refined Ristorante La Terrazza, and at the Pool Grill Restaurant.The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.He/She reports to Bar Manager.Main duties & responsibilities:Fulfill the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards and procedures;Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere, establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries;Plan, organize, and control the operations of a bar;To monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use-by-dates on perishable goods, and order replacement deliveries as required;Supervise the work of bar staff and other bartenders;Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies;Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Bar Manager and/or Restaurant Manager;Brings suggestions for improvement;Notify Bar Manager or Manager-on-Duty any time a guest is not completely satisfied with their experience.RequirementsPrepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferencesInteract with customers in a professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendationsMaintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and equipmentMonitor and manage inventory of spirits, beer, wine, and other bar suppliesAdhere to all food and beverage safety and sanitation regulationsCollaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless customer experienceBe knowledgeable about current drink trends and classic cocktailsBenefitsWe offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
