Maitre, Season **** - Splendido Mare, a Belmond Hotel Portofino1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThis range is provided by Belmond.Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeSplendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino.Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family.Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.For the next season, we are looking for a Maitre to join our team.The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.He/she will report to the Restaurant Manager.Main duties & responsibilities:Anticipate guests' needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience in line with our service standards;Cooperate with the Restaurant Manager for staff development;Manage staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures;Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in the same role in the luxury hotel industry;Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is desirable;Experience preferably at an international level in a fine dining restaurant required;Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines, HACCP certification.BenefitsSeasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
