OverviewRole Purpose: The Facilities Manager will lead a team to ensure effective management of daily client activities for assigned properties and facilities, supporting the Account Lead as the on-site key contact for stakeholders and clients.This role manages teams across Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, and Portugal, with responsibility for service quality, help-desk resolution, maintenance client guidelines and JLL best practicesContract ManagementPlan and manage all contracts for professional delivery at optimal costsMonitor contract expiration dates and initiate re-procurement when neededContinuously assess contracts to deliver maximum client valueFinancial Management / Cost Control / ProfitabilityEnsure site financial operations meet or exceed targets and control requirements, including adherence to JLL's Code of EthicsMaintain compliance with all financial processesHealth & Safety ManagementProvide a safe working environment for all personnelEnsure compliance with statutory fire, health, and safety regulationsSite Operations ManagementRecommend and implement continuous quality improvement practices and industry best practicesImplement building procedures and performance measures, maintaining them consistentlyMeet all Critical Environment Management (CEM) requirementsReview operations regularly to reduce costs and improve standardsRisk ManagementImplement and maintain property risk management programs including auditsDevelop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plansEstablish escalation and incident reporting proceduresSupport development of compliance guidelines and strategies aligned with JLL's business conductPerformance AchievementMeet Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements consistentlySkills and ExperienceFacilities management, building operations, business, or related field experienceOccupational safety requirements knowledgeVendor management experience for specialized servicesCritical facilities knowledge with understanding of technical property aspects (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller systems, Fire Protection, Mechanical & Electrical systems, BMS systems)Commercial contract interpretation and understandingBudget management and financial analysis capabilitiesTechnical SkillsStrong PC literacy with proven ability to manage daily activities using various systemsHard services experience and/or technical degreeDemonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives (highly desirable)Italian and English fluent language proficiencyPersonal
