Job TitleFECC R&D Engineer Junior/Test AssistantLocationPiacenza (PC), ItalyCompanyFives Combustion BU – European Combustion Research Center, part of Fives GroupJob SummaryResponsible for the development and testing of future burners with low pollutant emissions and low-carbon energies.You will work closely with the FECC manager to plan, execute, and analyze combustion tests, ensuring safety and data integrity.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and plan short-term combustion tests in line with the FECC manager.Manage the supply chain related to the tests.Participate in the tests, implementing data collection, recording and analyzing results.Manage the IT of the data collection system and test rig automation.Participate in the maintenance program (planning, supply chain management).Ensure safety during combustion test performance.Qualifications & SkillsJunior engineer or experienced technician with background in thermal/mechanical, instrumentation and control or electrical field.Basic knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.Proficiency with software: Microsoft Office; PLC/HMI environments (Siemens, Schneider), CAD design software; IT data management.Technical curiosity and initiative.Analytical and summarizing skills.Clear communication in oral and written form.Languages: Italian (fluent speaking, reading, writing); English (speaking, reading, writing); French (speaking, reading, writing).Additional welcome skills: PLC/HMI environ, CAD design, IT data management.Employment TypeFull-timeSeniority LevelEntry level#J-*****-Ljbffr
