Social network you want to login / join with :Note: This section has been removed for clarity and relevance.OverviewA leading multinational company in the industrial sector is looking for an Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow its presence in the MEA region, covering Middle East, North-West Africa, and Turkey.This role aims to amplify the effectiveness of the Salesmen job and SoW (Share of Wallet) when calling on customers within the region through an indirect business model.By focusing on customer needs and main business drivers, the Area Manager will help deliver tailored value propositions and expand the product portfolio in the region.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate sales activity within the assigned region through a distributor-based, indirect sales model.Manage and support a regional sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and provide regular reporting to senior management.Collaborate in defining the market strategy within a matrix organization, involving multiple internal stakeholders.Drive strategic account planning, set pricing strategies, and manage negotiations at all levels.Maintain regular contact with key customers and distributors, planning structured and effective visits.Ensure sales representatives deliver optimal product and solution mixes, maximizing the company's presence and offering per customer.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring cost control in line with objectives.Apply company guidelines for contract review and ensure appropriate delegation of authority is in place.Coordinate regional marketing initiatives in collaboration with the communication team.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in engineering or equivalent field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Area Manager role.Proven track record in sales management within the MEA region.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Knowledge of French or Arabic is considered a strong advantage.Key competencesStrong business acumen and a customer-centric approach.Target-driven with the ability to consistently deliver results.High resilience and effective stress management.Flexible, dynamic, and proactive, with strong cultural sensitivity toward the MEA region.Capable of working in complex, matrix organizations.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Advanced negotiation and communication skills, including public speaking.Marketing mindset: strategic planning, account development, and competitor intelligence.Ability to define value propositions and set priorities based on business impact.Passion for innovation, with a continuous improvement and risk-taking attitude.Strong focus on Commercial Excellence.Location:Italy (responsible for MEA markets: Middle East, North-West Africa & Turkey)J-*****-Ljbffr#J-*****-Ljbffr
