Fincantieri NexTech SpA, società del Gruppo Fincantieri, è specializzata nello sviluppo di soluzioni tecnologiche e innovative in ambito Maritime & Defence, Smart Infrastructures, Specialized Engineering e CyberSecurity & Digital Solutions.Fincantieri NexTech offre inoltre servizi di Ingegneria specializzata, in particolare nel mondo navale e della compatibilità elettromagnetica, facendo leva sulle comprovate capacità maturate nella Ricerca & Sviluppo e nelle conseguenti applicazioni ingegneristiche molte delle quali trasversali ai diversi ambiti applicativi.Le competenze di ingegneria, acquisiste nello sviluppo di soluzioni high tech e le solide capacità d'integrazione dei sistemi, rendono Fincantieri NexTech un player di riferimento in grado di offrire, al mercato in cui opera il Gruppo, un portafoglio di prodotti e servizi innovativi, smart, sicuri, scalabili e sostenibili.Fincantieri NexTech con circa 800 professionisti ed esperti impegnati in Italia ed all'estero, fornisce soluzioni altamente specialistiche a centinaia di clienti nei cinque continenti.Il gruppo Manpower in collaborazione con Fincantieri Nextech SpA cerca un/a Infrastructure Specialist.JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for delivering, commissioning, and operating end-to-end shipboard and cloud-based infrastructure.Ensures resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure supporting applications developed for maritime business.The Infrastructure Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability systems and drive innovation in operational technology.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Coordination of end-to-end ship infrastructure delivery in close collaboration with Shipbuilding engineering and yard operations.- Datacenter installation and maintenance responsibilities (compute, storage, networking; lifecycle, capacity, continuity).- Deploy, manage, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms, including provisioning, cluster lifecycle operations, and edge/ship environments- Ensure seamless integration between shipboard OT systems and onboard/cloud IT platforms, following maritime safety, cybersecurity, and operational standards.- Implement infrastructure-as-code, GitOps workflows, and automation pipelines to streamline deployment, configuration, and platform updates.- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery for shipboard and cloud workloads.- Collaborate with solution architects, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure with project goals.- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for scalability, security, and efficiencyCOMPETENCESWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant exposure to edge computing, hyperconverged systems, or distributed compute platforms.- Proven experience with Kubernetes orchestration, preferably with SUSE Rancher, Harvester, or equivalent edge/virtualization platforms.- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.- Solid understanding of OT protocols, industrial networks, and security best practices.- Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.- Understanding operational needs and aligning infrastructure solutions to business goals- Taking initiative in projects, driving improvements, and ensuring high availability and resilience- Fluent in English and ItalianNICE TO HAVE- Experience in maritime, aerospace, defense, or industrial edge-computing sectors.- Certifications related to Kubernetes, cloud engineering, or virtualization (CKA, Rancher, AWS/Azure).- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile development environments.
