Senior Staff Digital Design Engineer

Job description:As a Senior Staff Digital Designer, you will lead the design and development of complex digital blocks and integrated circuits, contributing to innovative semiconductor solutions.You will apply your deep technical expertise to solve non-standard design challenges, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements in design methodologies and project outcomes.Architect and implement advanced RTL designs using Verilog/VHDL for integrated digital systemsDefine and lead design strategies for complex digital blocks, ensuring optimal performance, power, and areaDevelop and review test benches for functional verification and drive regression testingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support lab validation and production test program developmentAnalyze and resolve design issues using CDC, LINT, LEC, and synthesis toolsContribute to technical documentation including specifications, simulation reports, and design reviewsAct as a key contributor in technical projects, improving output quality and driving innovationShare expertise through publications, patents, or internal technical presentationsProfile description:Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 6+ years of experience in digital design within the semiconductor industryProven experience in RTL design, DFT, and test-pattern generationFamiliarity with backend flow tools for synthesis, timing sign-off, and power analysisHands-on experience with FPGA prototyping is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication skills and proficiency in EnglishTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to collaboration and feedbackDemonstrated ability to adapt to change and drive technical improvementsWe offer:ams OSRAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.Diversity, equity and inclusion is strongly established in our corporate culture and we firmly believe it makes us more successful as a company.All qualified applications will receive consideration for employment regardless of ethnic, national or social origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, religion, age, physical and mental abilities.Hana.-Find out more about us on
