Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our Public Sector team in Sydney.The territory covers a portfolio of State Government customers across NSW, working on a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, articulate, passionate about creating great customer outcomes, and have an sets us apart from other organisations.Key job responsibilitiesIncrease adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territoryUtilise internal resources to drive customer outcomesIncrease revenue across a portfolio of customers to meet or exceed revenue targetsCreate and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new businessChallenge outdated approaches to ITCreate and articulate compelling value propositions to customersAnalyze sales metrics/data from your accounts to help evolve the strategyAccelerate customer adoption through education and engagementBuild, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategyWork with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunitiesAssist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud servicesDevelop long C-level relationships with key accountsBasic Qualifications7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience developing detailed go to market plansExperience in working directly with government officials and regulatory bodiesExperience with cloud computing
