CEO with proven track record in buy & build operationsIndustrial plant engineering sectorAbout Our ClientOur client is a small-sized Italian company operating in the industrial plant engineering sector, backed by an investor whose objective is to build an aggregated industrial hub designed to consolidate and grow with a long-term vision.Job DescriptionOur client is a small-sized Italian company operating in the industrial plant engineering sector, backed by an investor whose objective is to build an aggregated industrial hub designed to consolidate and grow with a long-term vision.As part of its growth strategy, the company is looking for a CEO with a proven track record in buy & build operations and a background in PE-backed Italian industrial entrepreneurship.The candidate will be responsible for supporting due diligence processes, defining and implementing growth strategies, coordinating portfolio companies, and ensuring the achievement of economic and industrial objectives in line with the investor's guidelines.Define and implement the commercial and development strategy of the Holding and its subsidiaries, focusing on both organic growth and external growth (buy & build) within a decentralized model;Actively participate in due diligence, acquisition, and integration processes of target companies, with particular attention to the execution of cost & revenue synergies;Accelerate organic growth through the bottom-up development of a group-wide commercial organization;Oversee the integration of reporting and operational processes across the different regions in which the group operates, ensuring coherence and harmonization;Drive ongoing harmonization at group level and progressively integrate services and go-to-market strategies;Manage investor relations, ensuring transparency, reporting, and strategic alignment;Serve as a strong reference point for entrepreneurs and managers of the portfolio companies, fostering managerial and cultural development;Build and consolidate the group's corporate culture, promoting collaboration, accountability, and results orientation;Ensure the Holding's competitive market positioning, including through innovation and the development of new business lines;Represent the company with investors, institutions, and both local and international stakeholders;Work closely with the CFO and other C-level executives in structuring processes, governance systems, and defining industrial plans;Supervise the operational management and overall performance of the controlled companies, ensuring medium-to-long-term value creation.The Successful ApplicantDegree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent;Proven senior experience as CEO or General Manager within Italian industrial and entrepreneurial companies, preferably in the plant engineering sector or in project-based business models;Extensive expertise in extraordinary transactions (M&A, buy & build), gained in contexts backed by institutional investors;Direct experience in managing post-acquisition integrations and building industrial platforms;Ability to effectively engage both with institutional investors and local entrepreneurs;Strategic vision combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach;Charismatic leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate entrepreneurial and managerial teams;Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills at all levels;Fluency in English.What's on OfferOttima opportunità di carriera.ContactIlaria Di NoiQuote job refJN-**************
