work moves the worldJoin us and take your career to the next levelWe are looking for a Product Specialist and Trainer to provide expertise in application, product, or solution management.You will be accountable for delivering demanding product management expertise and training, ensuring the long-term success of Kalmar Italia by continuously improving the performance, reliability, and usability of our products.Shortlisted candidates will be based in North Italy.What are your key responsibilities:Technical Expertise & Customer Support: Serve as the technical expert, acting as the interface between the factory-based product support team and the customer.Drive resolution of technical performance issues, warranty matters, service bulletins, and spare parts concerns.Product Upgrades & Documentation: Lead the installation of product upgrades, particularly software, including uploading and verifying new programs.Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide guidance to local service teams to enhance competence and service quality.Application & Product Management: Provide expertise in application, product, or solution management.Participate in development projects and product marketing activities, ensuring competitiveness and quality of assigned products and releases.Analysis & Improvement Recommendations: Analyse service bulletins, product details, pricing, and positioning to recommend enhancements and guide the future direction of products.Conduct product training and support adoption.Product Development & Market Evaluation: Support the product and offer development process by evaluating concepts, assessing sales potential and pricing, and monitoring competitive positions.Ensure customer satisfaction, product quality, and sustainability, staying up to Kalmar.What you bring to the role:Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.A combination of technical education and relevant experience may also be considered.Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Service or Operations environment, preferably within a multinational organization.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of material handling equipment or the service industry.Competencies: Excellent technical knowledge, strong training skills, and the ability to influence and impact others.Safety-focused with strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities.Commercially aware with sound business judgment, able to collaborate across functions, manage time effectively, multitask, and maintain a
