Trina Solar is an internationally recognized solar energy company.Our growing global presence includes regional headquarters in Switzerland, US, Japan and China with offices in Madrid, Munich, Milan, the UK, San Jose, Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai, to provide our customers with timely, reliable service.As Trina Storage continues to expand its capacity, we are looking for talent who is passionate about solar energy.From research and development to sales and marketing to manufacturing and operations, Trina Solar looks for people who thrive in exciting, challenging and dynamic work environments to become a part of our dedicated team of professionals and contribute daily to bringing clean, reliable and cost effective solar energy solutions to customers around the globe.Join us and our mission to promote and develop solar energy as a source of clean, renewable energy for all.We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our Utility Storage Team in Italy.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the continued development of the utility scale storage opportunity pipeline in Italy.Work with Marketing and Sales Engineer to qualify efficiently business opportunities and create a strong opportunity pipeline within designated sales area.Working with legal and technical team for contracts negotiation with customersOriginate and close a targeted number of commercial sales opportunities per quarterRapidly evaluate market dynamics across sectors (utility, large industrial) and drivers (policy/regulatory, economics, etc.)Identify and qualify market partners creating strong relationships with those partnersPerform techno-economic analysis of opportunities and associated risksUnderstand, define and disseminate functional requirements from the market, coordinating with internal Trina team membersProvide regular forecast updatesProvide reporting to management as and when requiredRequirements5+ years of experience in the utility scale energy sector in Italy10+ years of working experience in the renewable sectorWorking knowledge of grid/utility markets, as well as renewable technologies, such as PV, wind and/or storageAbility to create and understand financial modellingAbility to understand how regulatory and policy changes affect businessAbility to priorities work and execute many projects and tasks in parallel.Engineering Degree preferredKnowledge of battery systems and/or power conversion systemsFluent in English and Italian, additional language is a plus#J-*****-Ljbffr
