EscapeCampusisaninternationaleducationgroupfocusedonlanguagelearningWecurrentlyoperate:LanguageschoolsacrosstheUK,Spain,ItalyandColombia(onlineandin-person)AgrowingEdTechdivisionbuildingAI-poweredlanguagelearningsolutionsPartnershipswithcompanies,schoolsandinstitutionstodeliverinnovativelearningexperiencesWearenowlookingforaPart-TimeChiefFinancialOfficer(CFO)tohelpusstructureandscalethefinancialsideofthebusinessandtoleadourfundraisingstrategyacrossallEscapeCampusprojects.RoleOverviewThisisastrategicandhands-onrole.Wearelookingforsomeonewhocan:UnderstandtheoverallbusinessmodelofEscapeCampus(schools+online+EdTech)Takeownershipoffinancialplanning,cashflow,anduniteconomicsLeadandoptimiseourfundraisingefforts(VCs,angels,grants,publicfunds,accelerators)HelptheCEOtomakedata-drivendecisionsongrowth,investments,andprofitabilityYouwillworkcloselywiththeFounder&CEOandcoordinatewithouroperations,productandsalesteams.KeyResponsibilitiesDesignandmaintainthefinancialmodelofEscapeCampusGroup(P&L,cashflow,forecasts,scenarios).Analyseandimproveuniteconomics(customeracquisitioncosts,lifetimevalue,marginsperproduct/country,etc.).Leadandstructurethefundraisingstrategy:Identifyandprioritiserelevantinvestors,fundsandgrantopportunitiesSupportinpreparingpitchdecks,financialslides,businessplansanddataroomsJoininvestormeetingsandhandlefinancial&businessduediligenceImplementorimprovebasicfinancialprocessesandreporting:Monthly/quarterlyreportingBudgetingandbudgetvs.actualsCashflowmanagementandrunwayplanningAdviseoncorporatestructure,subsidiariesandcross-countryoperations(UK,Spain,Italy,Colombia)withourlegal/accountingpartners.SupporttheCEOinstrategicdecisions(pricing,productmix,hiringplan,costoptimisation,expansion).Ensurecompliancewithbasicfinancialregulationsandgoodgovernancepractices.RequirementsProvenexperienceasCFO,FinanceDirector,HeadofFinanceorsimilarinastartuporscale-up(EdTech,SaaSoreducation-relatedsectorsareaplus).Strongskillsinfinancialmodelling,forecasting,anduniteconomics.Demonstratedexperienceinfundraising(equity,convertibleinstruments,grants,publicfunding,accelerators,etc.).Abilitytotranslatenumbersintoclearstrategicrecommendationsfornon-financialstakeholders.Comfortableworkingwithdistributedoperationsacrossmultiplecountriesandcurrencies.Hands-on,pragmatic,abletoworkwithlimitedresourcesinanearly-stageenvironment.ExcellentEnglish(spokenandwritten).NicetoHaveExperienceinEdTech,education,ortrainingbusinesses.Experiencewithgrant/publicfundapplications(innovation,digitalisation,education).FamiliaritywithUKandEUstartupecosystems(investors,programs,instruments).BasedinEuropeorsimilartimezone.#J-*****-Ljbffr
