Mechanical Development Engineer | StartupDirect message the job poster from Ingenn.Ingenn is a Head Hunting company exclusively focused on the search and selection of technical profiles and engineers.The RoleSupport stack mechanical development (frames, endplates, compression hardware, flow frames, seals/gaskets, interfaces)Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and BOMs; support revision control and documentation.Perform basic mechanical calculations and support FEM/FEA activities (stress/deflection, bolt loads, sealing compression).Support prototype builds: assembly procedures, fixtures, instrumentation integration, and build documentation.Collect and document failure evidence from tests; propose and implement design improvements.Coordinate with lab/test teams to ensure designs are testable and serviceable.Draft procedures, reports and technical documentation in general.Job RequirementsAt least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (internships included).Basic proficiency in using CAD and creating technical drawings.Familiarity with mechanical design principles (materials, tolerances, fastening, sealing concepts).Hands-on aptitude with prototypes and testing environments.Additional InfoExperience with low-pressure liquid systems (pumps, valves, fittings, piping), FEM/FEA tools, mechanical testing, and any experience with energy storage systems, electrochemical systems, or industrial equipment will be considered a preferential requirement.LocationRho (MI).Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionIndustries: Electric Power Generation, Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution, and Engineering Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
