Founding Business Development Representative (Partnerships)Join to apply for the Founding Business Development Representative (Partnerships) role at Featherless AI.About FeatherlessFeatherless.ai is building the world's most reliable open-model inference platform — a serverless foundation for deploying and scaling AI without infrastructure overhead.Backed by Airbus Ventures, 500 Global, Kickstart Ventures, HF0 Residency, Panache Ventures, and Oakseed Ventures, we're a well-funded team of researchers and engineers on a mission to democratize AI through performance and accessibility.Our cloud provides instant access to 12,000+ open-source AI models and the research innovations powering next-generation efficiency, reliability, and model optimization.About The RoleWe're looking for a Business Development Representative (Partnerships) — someone who thrives at the intersection of relationships, communication, and execution.This is not a traditional sales role.You'll own programs, test ideas, and help shape our GTM motion from day one.You'll blend classic BDR pipeline work with ecosystem-building: connecting with model creators, AI startups, researchers, and developers exploring open-model deployment.If you're an entrepreneur that loves early-stage GTM, enjoys experimenting with new outreach strategies, and wants to work directly with exec-team in a fast-moving AI environment, you'll feel at home here.What You'll Own ImmediatelyBuild & qualify pipeline across developers, founders, research labs, and AI startupsManage outreach sequences (HubSpot, Clay, Reply.io, n8n)Re-engage existing sign-ups and subscribers; identify high-value usersCoordinate partner calls & discovery meetings with the CRO and foundersTrack CRM, pipeline metrics, and weekly reportingSupport partnership programs and early co-selling motionsPropose creative GTM experiments and new partnership opportunitiesCore ResponsibilitiesProspect and qualify outbound opportunitiesHandle inbound interest and schedule discovery callsManage partner relationships with creators, labs, and dev communitiesMaintain CRM hygiene and lead scoringCollaborate with DevRel on co-marketing and ecosystem initiativesWhat You Bring1–3 years in BDR, SDR, partnerships, or growth (AI or dev tools a bonus)Comfortable engaging technical audiences (developers, founders, researchers)Excellent written and verbal communication – concise, credible, humanEntrepreneurial and self-driven – you operate independently and get things doneHighly organized with clean CRM habitsFamiliar with HubSpot, Clay, n8n, or similar toolsBonus: basic understanding of LLMs, APIs, or model deploymentWhy FeatherlessWork directly with founders on high-impact partnerships and GTM strategyLearn the full AI infrastructure sales funnel – from self-serve to enterpriseBuild your network across one of the fastest-growing open AI ecosystemsBe part of a small, technical team making open AI accessible to everyoneCompensationUSD $******K based on locationSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesTechnology, Information and InternetReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Featherless AI by 2x.Get notified about new Business Development Representative jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
