Ready to achieve great things together?We are looking for a motivated Head of Project Finance to be based in either Milan or Verona, Italy.You will join our dynamic Finance team.Do you think innovatively, are a team player and have a passionate for sustainability.Does that sound like you?Then apply now.We look forward to getting to know you.full time - unlimitedYour contribution to the energy transitionAs our Head of Project Finance you are responsible for leading all project finance and M&A activities for JUWI Italy, overseeing end-to-end transactions and reporting to the Managing Director of the Italian company.This includes structuring, negotiating, and securing project finance for new-build renewable energy assets, as well as originating, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions (acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments).The role serves as the company's subject-matter expert on financial structuring, bankability, investment modelling, and valuation working closely with Development, EPC, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure optimal capital structure, successful financial close, and high-value strategic transactions.- Lead the project finance team in developing financial models and analyses to support investment decisions, financing structures, sensitivities, and bankability assessments for solar, storage, wind and hybrid renewable energy projects- Lead the entire M&A cycle for both project sale and acquisition opportunities for ready-to-build or operational assets: deal sourcing, valuation, structuring, preparation of investment cases, due diligence, negotiation, and closing- Negotiate SPA, SHA, JV agreements, earn-outs, option structures, and other transaction documents.- Drive financial close, coordinating external advisors, banks, and internal stakeholders to meet timelines and requirements- Support strategic decisions on portfolio optimization, asset rotation strategy, and partnership structuring- Provide strategic advice on capital structure optimization, refinancing opportunities, and cost of capital improvements- Organize and conduct the process for financial partner/lender selection, including preparing teasers, Information Memoranda, and participating in the outreach- Actively engage with prospective counterparties to clarify project valuation, risk allocation, assumptions and market perspectives- Manage multiple parties including banks, consultants, lawyers as well as internal stakeholders to bring transactions to successful close- Manage and develop the team by providing clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to support both individual growth and overall team performanceYour energy is required- Proven track record in project finance for renewable energy assets, including securing senior debt and managing lender processes- Extensive experience leading M&A transactions end-to-end in renewables or infrastructure- Advanced proficiency in project finance modelling, DCF valuation, sensitivities, and scenario analysis- Good understanding of PPA structures, regulatory frameworks, auction mechanisms, and merchant market exposure- Strong negotiation experience with banks, investors, developers, and advisors- Executive presence and ability to interact with senior stakeholders and shareholders- Excellent communication skills in English and Italian (written and spoken)- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-party transactions- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field- 10+ years of experience in project finance, structured finance, or M&A within renewables or infrastructure- Prior experience at an IPP, investment fund, energy developer or financial advisor is strongly preferredYour energy booster at JUWI- Company culture: a space for creativity and innovation- International teams: collaborating and communicating continuously with teams across the JUWI group fosters professional growth in a culturally diverse environment- Structured environment: benefit from well thought out processes and procedures within our ISO ****:**** certified matrix organization- Professional development: access to a wide range of opportunities for advancing your career- Smart working: working from home opportunities is part of our commitment to a healthy work-life balance- Health insurance: we've got your back, and your loved ones tooOur private health insurance plan covers you and your family- Performance-based bonus: work toward your best performance, with your bonus also reflecting the region's performance- Meal ticket: fuel up and focus on your workWe've got you covered with a daily meal ticket for each work-dayOur energy matches yours?Then apply for a job with usReady for a dream job full of energy and opportunities?Then get started - you can start with a few clicksThis is us - a strong team shaping the futureAt JUWI, we stand for a sustainable and strong future for all of us.Our motto 'Power of Our Unity.
