Elevate Your Career Director of Sales (Eastern Region) – Remote PositionAre you a high-performing sales leader with a passion for the pet industry?We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Director of Sales for the Eastern Region to lead our expansion across the eastern United States.If you have a proven track record in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and a talent for developing elite sales teams, we want to talk to you.This is a rare opportunity to join a growing company that truly puts its people first by offering a remote work environment and a premium benefits package that covers you and your entire family.Job PurposeThe Director of Sales, Eastern Region is a management position reporting directly to the VP of Sales.This individual must have an accomplished background in consumer-packaged goods sales, preferably in the pet industry within farm & feed and pet specialty, strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities.Primary responsibilities include managing a field team to deliver sales growth; partnering with the distributor and dealer network to deliver sales/market share of both new and existing product lines and to meet and exceed the company's annual revenue goals.The Director of Sales, Eastern Region will manage the eastern half of the United States and territory sales manager with direct accountability to results.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the revenue of distributors and retail accounts within the defined geographyDevelop, manage and drive product sales, innovation placements and SKU expansion through distribution to retailers in the east regionDirect, motivate and develop sales team members with a relentless focus on sales achievementResearch key customer wants and needs, and effectively communicate with the sales leadership teamResolve customer complaints in an effective and respectful mannerFurther grow and develop customer relationships with distributors and retail partnersManage new and existing product sales campaigns / strategies within the east region to successfully meet and exceed the company's revenue goalManage regional and local trade shows within the east regionMeasure, track, and analyze key metrics including delivering weekly forecastsQualificationsBachelor / Master's degree(s) in Science, Business, Economics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship; or other relevant field.Progressive, accomplished work history with a minimum of 5 years' experience in key account management, territory management, or similar sales experienceExcellent working knowledge of pet supply distribution and logisticsStrong, aspirational leader with a consistent ability to motivateExceptional communication skills, and the ability to utilize Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical and project management skillsStrategic thinker with a relentless drive for growth and a positive attitudeSuperior presentation skills and the ability to speak in front of large groupsWorking Conditions / Physical RequirementsThis position is largely self-directed and requires a thorough understanding of company policy, procedures, and values.This position will be required to adhere to all safety requirements, in all work environments.This position requires significant travel, and the ability / willingness to travel via airlines and / or vehicle.Specific Physical RequirementsOccasionally lifting weights of fifty (50) pounds or less.Occasionally climbing ladders and stairwells.Occasionally standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time.#J-*****-Ljbffr
