1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsInitial submitted candidates were considered not compliant due to the following reason:Lacks certs – CEI ***** Prescription of electric power plant maintenance verification & 1st Level Power Generator according to legislative reference Law *******Deadline Date: Friday 2 January **** (was Friday 12 December ****)Requirement: SATCOM Power Technician Support ServicesLocation: Lughezzano, ITFull Time On-Site: YesTime On-Site: 100%Period of Performance: **** Base: As soon as possible but not later than 2nd February **** (tentative) – 31 December ****, with the possibility to exercise the following options:**** Option: 01 January ********* December ******** Option: 01 January ********* December ****Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRETProject OverviewThe NCI Agency is tasked with acquiring, deploying, and defending communication systems to support NATO's political decision-makers and commands.The contractor will provide SATCOM power support services in Lughezzano, Italy, ensuring continuous operation of the station's power infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesMaintain prime power systems, from transformer vaults to distribution boards.Operate and maintain diesel-electric generators, ensuring fuel supply and readiness.Provide compliance inspections in accordance with CEI ***** prescriptions.Operate and maintain UPS, batteries, and emergency lighting.Perform preventive maintenance on cross-site cabling, grounding, lightning protection, radomes, EMP pneumatic doors, and hydraulic systems.Provide basic maintenance of site security systems (gates, bollards, access infrastructure).Maintain HVAC, heating, air handling units, and fire protection systems.Collaborate with industry providers for contracted services under site engineer oversight.Maintain accurate service records in TT-Comms, ITSM, and site logbooks.Provide monthly status reports on maintenance, incidents, and improvements.Support site engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years technical experience.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in power systems maintenance and troubleshooting.Expertise in power distribution systems, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units, and generators.Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining equipment such as rectifiers, inverters, and RF amplifiers, with working knowledge of remote telemetry and control systems.Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and technical documentation for classified or mission-critical operations.Familiarity with DoD power system standards, STIG compliance for infrastructure components, and audit support for operational readiness.Valid NATO-SECRET personal security clearance for the duration of the contract.English language proficiency: C1 level.Local assignment language fluency desirable.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionOtherIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
