Follow the journey at @orientexpress on Instagram or visit the website atJob DescriptionBased in Rome, the Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for driving the leisure segment performance across a prestigious luxury hospitality portfolio comprising two five-star hotels in Rome and in Venice and an exclusive luxury train La Dolce Vita Orient Express. The role focuses on strategic segment development, USA and LATAM market management and development, revenue growth, and brand positioning within the global leisure travel sector, ensuring alignment with five-star standards and overall commercial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLeisure Segment Strategy & PerformanceDefine and execute the leisure sales strategy for the two luxury hotels and the luxury trainDrive leisure segment revenue, market share, and profitability across all three assetsSet, manage, and achieve leisure sales targets in line with cluster and commercial objectivesMarket Development & Key AccountsManage and grow relationships with luxury consortia agency owners, advisors, tour operators, wholesalersIdentify new leisure markets and business opportunities for all assetsRepresent the portfolio at international trade fairs, roadshows, and sales missionsOrganize and participate in different familiarization tripsCommercial CollaborationWork closely with Revenue Management and commercial director to optimize pricing, availability, and packaging strategiesPartner with Marketing to develop leisure-focused campaigns, storytelling, and experiential B2B offersAlign with Operations to ensure delivery of promised guest experiencesLuxury Train & Experiential SalesPosition the luxury train as a flagship experiential product within the leisure portfolioDevelop multi-destination and hotel–train itineraries to maximize cross-selling opportunitiesSupport seasonal launches and bespoke leisure experiencesPerformance Monitoring & ReportingTogether with commercial team analyze booking trends, market data, and competitor performanceTrack KPIs, forecasts, and pace to ensure leisure segment objectives are metParticipate at weekly/monthly commercial meetings and present leisure segment performance updates to commercial directorLeadership & Brand RepresentationProvide guidance and direction to the cluster leisure sales manager currently in the teamEnsure consistent luxury brand standards across Rome, Venice, and train productsAct as a senior ambassador for the portfolio within the luxury travel communityQualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience in leisure sales within luxury hospitalityA very solid knowledge and a strong network within luxury consortia market, especially in USA and LATAM geographic areasProven track record in multi-property or cluster sales rolesDeep understanding of luxury leisure distributionExperience with luxury hotels and experiential travel productsStrong international leisure sales networkAdditional InformationMedical Insurance, integrating Collective Labor Agreement one and extended to the familyTicket RestaurantAnnual leaveALL - Heartist® Program: Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at all ACCOR locations and partner venues worldwide.Learning & development: Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
