Join to apply for the Senior Staff Engineer Application Engineering Automotive Microcontroller - Power Supplies (f/m/div) role at Infineon TechnologiesAre you passionate about innovation, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer support?As part of a newly established and growing team in Padova, you'll thrive in a collaborative environment that values adaptability, technical excellence, and fast-paced problem-solving.Job DescriptionYou will act as the go-to technical expert, providing world-class support to global customers and Field Application Engineers by addressing technical requests, performing lab-based analyses, and preparing training and demo materials.With a deep understanding of power supply concepts and Infineon's 32-bit microcontrollers, you will drive customer success by enabling design-in activities, delivering system-level expertise, and developing application demonstrators, including software.In your new role you will:Become a member of a highly specialized application engineering team, enabling customers using Infineon's automotive microcontrollersBe the go-to-person for providing best-in-class support to your worldwide customers and Infineon's Field Application Engineers, answering technical requests, performing benchmarking, and repeating findings in the labContribute to enabling our customers' applications using Infineon's microcontroller products, e.G. by preparing training and demo materialSupport design-in at our customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon's 32bit microcontrollers and a deep understanding of power supply conceptsStrive to constantly and consistently exceed our customers' expectations by providing technical support from product to system-level, application demonstrators, including softwareTrain field application engineers or customers in the area of your technical expertiseCompile technical concepts and application documentationCollaborate and share your knowledge with R&DYour ProfileAs a proactive and enthusiastic team player with a deep understanding of power supply concepts, you'll use your strong communication skills to provide exceptional technical support, balancing customer needs with Infineon's goals to deliver innovative solutions.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, or a similar field of studyAt least 3-5 years of relevant experience in automotive projectsPrevious experience in embedded microcontroller and/or power supply projects (PMICs)Practical experience in PCB design and layout aspects, e.G.
