storage projects.This is an opportunity to join one of the Italian most established renewable energy Project Development teams and help develop renewable energy assets.The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.#LI-HybridThe RoleThe Principal Project Developer will support the Project Development team across the full development lifecycle of utility-scale grid connected solar and wind projects, in addition to innovative technology solutions such as battery storage and green hydrogen, from greenfield prospecting to construction-ready status.The candidate will be the main interface with external stakeholders such as landowners, government bodies, Transmission System Operator (TSO) and engineering designers, in addition to internal stakeholders, liaising with planning, legal, finance and administrative teams.Moreover the candidate will coordinate the assigned project team.Our Clients and ProjectsIt's a the installation of renewable power plantsDeveloping new wind / solar business opportunities, focusing on innovative solutions (agro-photovoltaic power plants)Following the negotiation of contracts with landowners and host community agreements with MunicipalitiesManaging relationships with stakeholders involved with the development process (statutory bodies, grid operator, internal departments, subcontractors, law firms)Evaluating economic viability of projects (cost estimate and financial model)Evaluating integration of battery energy storage system with renewable power projects under developmentWriting detailed technical / administrative documents for permit applicationsReviewing all project documentation prepared by internal departments and external consultantsUsing computer engineering or environmental sciences8/10 year's experience in energy project permitting / developmentdeep knowledge of project development process (Wind, Solar, Storage)knowledge of key legal documents, such as land option agreementsknowledge of the planning and connection process for renewable energy projectsexcellent writing skills along with the ability to edit and proofread finished work product prepared by othersflexible, resourceful and able to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlinesExcellent written and verbal Italian and English languagedetail-orientedstrong team working attitudeknowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)ability to travel both nationally and internationally for short / medium
