Company Description Obton A/S is a leading long-term investment partner specializing in solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.As the ninth-largest Solar PV investor in Europe, Obton oversees more than 1,400 solar PV plants, delivering green power to households globally.With over €3.4 billion in managed investments for more than 4,200 investors, the company ensures stable returns through steady cash flow from operational solar PV plants.Obton's mission is to provide a reliable supplement to investment portfolios, offering stability amidst financial market fluctuations while supporting sustainable energy development.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Developer based in Rome, Italy, with the flexibility for some remote work.The Project Developer will be responsible for managing the development pipeline of solar PV projects, including identifying new opportunities, assessing feasibility, coordinating permitting processes, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.The role includes financial modeling, negotiating contracts, tracking project timelines, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.Collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve project milestones is a critical aspect of the role.QualificationsProject development skills, including identifying opportunities, feasibility studies, and developing solar PV plantsStrong knowledge of regulatory compliance and permitting processes in project managementExperience with financial modeling and contract negotiationsExcellent stakeholder relationship management and team collaboration abilitiesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsHighly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProficiency in English and Italian languages requiredPrevious experience in the renewable energy sector is a plusBachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage
