Take the chance to work for the Organization in charge ofdelivering one of the biggest and most prestigious events in sport fieldFeel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina ****, leaving a mark in the sport historyBREAK THE ICEFondazione Milano Cortina ****is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of ****, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.Milano Cortina **** will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.The Milano Cortina **** Organizing Committee has been established in **** with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.Position:The responsible individual will be tasked with finalizing and implementing in detail transportation activities at a specific competition or non-competition venue, as well as coordinating operations related to remote transportation hubs within the cluster (interchange parking lots, railway stations, etc.).Ensuring that designated spaces align with stakeholder needs and comply with the Olympic Transport Plan will be crucial.The role will also require consolidating and integrating, if necessary, the monitoring and revision process of transportation areas at venue by collaborating with all involved functional areas.The ideal candidate will bring design skills, implementation capabilities, and strong collaboration skills to ensure the overall success of transportation operations during the Olympic event.Support the Venue Transport Coordinator in their duties including: Engage with Milano Cortina functional areas representing stakeholders (Media Operations, Sport & NOC Services, Olympic Family Services) to identify optimal solutions for parking and loading/unloading areas for the venue, addressing the specific needs of each client in terms of quantity and location.Ensure that these solutions align with the Service Level established by the Transport Plan, considering aspects such as vehicle type, quantity, frequencies, etc.Collaborate with the VNI department (Venue Design & Infrastructure) to integrate transportation needs into venue projects, ensuring compatibility with available spaces.Additionally, interact with the Security department to ensure that the security control level is congruent with the dimensions of the Vehicle Security Area (VSA).Size remote transportation hubs consistently with their intended use (interchange parking for spectators, long-term parking for accredited individuals, loading/unloading spaces at stations, etc.).Coordinate the development of dedicated transportation maps for the venue.Plan the requirements for temporary setups needed to ensure the efficiency of transportation operations at venue.Develop operational plan to manage transportation operations at the venue, ensuring integration with the comprehensive Olympic Transport Plan.Requirements:Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package.Operational knowledge of transportation and mobility in the context of international events.Effective communication skills in English (Italian or German a plus), organizational ability, and autonomy in task development.Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to manage a team, structure internal processes, handle operations, and resolve challenges.Background or personal interest in winter sports and alpine environments depending on the Venue.Experience in implementing transportation operations for international events, ideally in a mountain/winter context.Experience in managing relationships with clients and suppliers in complex and diverse contexts.Other information:Fondazione Milano Cortina **** is committed in building an inclusive and diversified working environment, striving to guarantee equal opportunities for all workers (L.******) and promote the integration into its workforce of persons with disabilities (L.*****).
