Data Center Engineering Operations, CGK - DCEO Job ID: ******* | PT Amazon Data Services IndonesiaAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.We support all AWS data centers and servers, ensuring customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.Join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.Work across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing limitless capacity at the lowest possible cost.The RoleThe Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing AWS business and customers 24/7.We maintain the physical infrastructure of AWS, ensuring operational performance in safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as site primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; manage communication and relationships.Meet daily hours of operations, on-call rotation, and respond during shift requirements.Manage minor and major planned and unplanned site works for critical infrastructure, including risk management and mitigation, approvals within SLAs.Oversee contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors; ensure compliance with established practices, procedures, and local legislation.Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analysis, and prepare reports on data center facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.Generate change management requests and incident management tickets for DCEO activities.Coordinate with IT, networking, logistics, safety, security, and other business leaders to manage capacity, optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.Document technical support of business and facility operations.Drive and implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.Assist in recruiting efforts.Support operating partners in resolving any infrastructure engineering issues.A Day in the LifeTroubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, and facility management.Provide operational readings and KPI to maintain uptime.Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring work compliance.Perform maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.Shift schedule may rotate up to 12-hour on-call rotations.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical (military/trade school) degree.2+ years of experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire systems in a data center or critical infrastructure facility.Ability to participate in a 24×7 rotating shift roster.Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including DRUPS, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDUs, chillers, AHUs, and CRAC units.Experience managing vendors/contractors performing construction, maintenance, and upgrading works in large-scale critical environment.Familiar with the concepts and interaction of Service Management systems (Problem and Change).Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
