Job Title Sales Manager SME – ENGIE Italia – Milan, ItalyAbout the CompanyENGIE places sustainable development at the heart of its activities, supporting clients on their decarbonisation journey while optimising assets and creating value.The company operates across the entire energy mix, from renewable to thermal power, natural gas and chemical fuels, delivering tailored solutions that focus on decarbonisation and decentralisation.What You Will DoCollaborate with the Head of Downstream to build an SME-focused stream for the Downstream desk, aligning with S&EM Italy strategy milestones.Lead, coach and develop a team of Area Managers, ensuring achievement of sales/P&L targets and professional growth.Oversee agency management through Area Managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and contractual compliance.Propose and manage yearly business plans for SME, achieving profitable growth based on data-driven analytics of clients and contracts.Support the Head of Downstream and COO in building a secure, efficient, digitally oriented front-end SME stream.Build and maintain strong relationships with key SME customers for electricity and gas supply.Drive business development by achieving sales and profitability targets.Contribute to contract negotiations.Propose and help structure new products and services for SME clients.Monitor customer satisfaction and loyalty, resolving any issues or complaints.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing customers.Provide internal feedback and insights to improve offerings and competitive edge.Participate in team spirit and collaborate horizontally with other sales managers.About YouBachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.At least ten years of experience as a Sales Manager in the SME segment with a proven track-record and accountability for full P&L.Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills, with deep understanding of energy transition impacts and energy risk management.Strong stress management and ability to react quickly in demanding scenarios.Demonstrated capacity to lead a large team of Area Managers and agencies in an Italian environment, with a record of leading transformation and working in a start-up mode.Ability to drive growth and operational excellence.Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus.Collaborative mindset, capable of fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment.Capability to build credibility and trust with senior stakeholders, communicating complex issues simply and persuasively to clients and employees.Demonstrated leadership, assertiveness, excellent negotiation (including with external stakeholders) and presentation skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, results-oriented, humble.Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.Type of ContractLocal contract governed by Italian labour law.Additional InformationENGIE is committed to diversity and inclusion, providing the same opportunities to all employees and applicants irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, disability or religion.The company is recognised for its inclusive culture and holds certifications such as ISO *****:**** and UNI PDR 125:****.Seniority level: Mid-Senior level | Employment type: Full-time | Job function: Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing | Industries: Services for Renewable Energy and Electric Power Generation.#J-*****-Ljbffr
