Overview The Secure Connected Edge Business Line delivers technologies that enable seamless secure connections between people, devices and their environment.By combining the full breadth of edge processing (MCUs and MPUs) solutions with leading connectivity technologies, we enable smart devices to sense with UWB, connect through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID or NFC and interact securely thanks to purpose-built secure elements.NXPs Industrial & IoT Edge solutions range from the smallest MCUs to very high-performance processors to provide real-time insights and efficient automation when performance matters most.NXPs advanced portfolio of edge processing solutions lets developers explore their most innovative ideas with confidence, enabling applications across the autonomous home, industrial automation and personal electronics.Role SummaryThe R&D group is growing and we are recruiting an Analog Design Manager to lead a team that develops mixed-signal and analog IP in support of the IIOT MCU business.You will take part of the creation of the team by recruiting, developing and leading a new team of ***** covering architecture, analog design, DMS/AMS layout and will deliver into IIOT MCU SOC products.As the leader of an Analog Team of around 15 designers within a mixed-signal design group you'll take responsibility for driving innovation and excellence.The role involves overseeing IP development and implementing an efficient reuse strategy to optimise design processes.ResponsibilitiesLead and grow an analog team of ***** members covering architecture, analog design, DMS/AMS layout and deliver across IIOT MCU SOC products.Develop and lead a team of 15 designers within a mixed-signal design group, driving innovation and excellence.Drive IP development and implement an efficient reuse strategy to optimise design processes.Collaborate closely with the Design Management Team and Design Leaders to manage resource allocation and planning for new product developments.Ensure compliance with design flow and quality standards.Identify and deploy new methodologies and tools, keeping a constant eye on state-of-the-art practices and advanced verification techniques.Guide team growth by mentoring and fostering the professional development of contributors, aligning with competence and development strategies.Nurture partnerships with academic institutions and engage with the regional ecosystem through collaborative innovation projects.QualificationsEducation: Master's degree in electronic or electrical engineering.Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the design of analog blocks and systems, proven track record in leading and managing global teams.Technical expertise: Deep understanding of analog circuit design verification and integration within complex systems; familiarity with industry-standard tools and methodologies for analog design.Leadership & Management: Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire, mentor and develop talent, excellent decision-making capabilities, ability to drive strategic initiatives, experience in defining team KPIs, monitoring performance and implementing continuous improvement.Collaboration & Communication: Team-oriented mindset, comfortable working with cross-functional teams (digital design, layout, test, product engineering), excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.Culture & Innovation: Ability to create an environment that stimulates innovation, productivity and execution excellence; promote a culture of ownership, accountability and technical excellence.Job DetailsEmployment Type: Full-TimeVacancy: 1#J-*****-Ljbffr
