Overview Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company dedicated to advancing sustainable impact and empowering the people who make water work every day.As a leading water technology company with 23,000 employees operating in over 150 countries, Xylem is at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges.We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.The RoleXylem is seeking a Business Developer Vertical Markets who combines the division portfolio promotion, by searching and developing different verticals with a strong capacity to effectively conduct market analysis to enhance business growth targets.Success in this role requires creative problem-solving, adaptability and strong collaboration across teams.The ideal candidate will act as a growth catalyst.Principal ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the best Technical/Market Price is delivered to our customers.Design customized solutions applicable to the specific vertical.Drive new product launches within a specific market alongside Marketing dept.Accountable to identify strategic product pricing.Maintain accurate data and leverage insights to identify opportunities and build actionable plans against KPIs.Strong partnership with internal stakeholders to identify indirect specific sales channels.Conduct deep market study and analysis to serve new or growing vertical markets.Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of sales process.Generate reports and dashboards to track result from each vertical and highlight areas for improvement.Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to support scalable vertical markets growth.Strong collaboration with the local salesforce to ensure the achievement of the business growth defined by the segment strategy.Ensure higher win rate, making post-mortem analysis on lost cases with sales.Manage priority among customers with a hunter mindset and proactive approach to effectively ensuring the best quotations and offer follow ups.Identify possible partnership with Third Parties to become more effective in the way we address the vertical market.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related relevant experience.5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Salesforce other systems such as PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with channel sales models and partner ecosystems.Soft SkillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.ProactivityStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.Sales acumenIdentifies and mitigates risksBreaks down problems effectively and leverages RCAPerforms strongly under pressure or in face of challengesFocuses on long-term goals despite setbacks or failuresLeads change with optimismTravel requirements: up to 75%.Location: North-Italy, with the responsibility on the entire countryJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.Our products impact public utilities, industrial sectors, residential areas, and commercial buildings, with a commitment to providing smart metering, network technologies, and advanced analytics for water, electric, and gas utilities.Partner with us in creating a world where water challenges are met with ingenuity and dedication; where we recognize the power of inclusion and belonging in driving innovation and allowing us to compete more effectively around the world.#J-*****-Ljbffr
