Who we are: Prysmian is a global cabling solutions provider leading the energy transition and digital transformation .Prysmian is a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost 150 years of experience , over 33,000 employees , 104 plants and 27 R&D centers in over 50 countries.Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a IT Global Applications Specialist - R&D to join our offices in Milan - HQ.Reporting directly to the Global Applications Team Leader R&D, your focus will be on supporting and improving digital systems and tools used by the R&D community, especially in cable design projects.Your daily work will involve supporting both existing digital platforms and the development and rollout of new tools, including AI solutions and advanced data management systems.You'll be a point of contact for regional R&D teams who are adopting digital tools or have questions and needs, encouraging a culture of digital innovation throughout the organization.You'll also help with digital programs related to sustainability, such as platforms for ESG data and tools for compliance processes.In particular, you will: Lead the definition, development, and strategic roadmap of PryCD (Program Deployment our New Cable Design Platform), the new generation cable design platform built on BTP technology.Ensure business alignment and user adoption across R&D teams worldwide.Maintain daily operations without business interruption and oversee AMS governance.Assess possible enhancements in line with the PryCD roadmap.Be a thought leader in implementing AI technologies into PryCD and Cable Design to enable faster response to customer RFQs, accurate product benchmarking across our manufacturing plants and easier recovery and sharing of data management.Guide the integration of sustainability-related features into digital platforms, including carbon footprint calculation, hazardous substances compliance, and ESG data collection.Deploy programs such as E Path within the R&D ecosystem.Be accountable for the delivery of the maintenance and project activities of the remaining R&D Platforms (e.G., PSE, CompounDS, Pryspec, Accolade, QlikView applications), ensuring harmonization, processes integration and alignment with evolving business requirements.You are the right fit if you have/are: Fluent in English Engineering degree 3/5 years of experience in similar roles Knowledge of SAP BTP is a plus Soft skill requirements to be added according to role's needs Strong communication & interpersonal skills Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset What we offer you: Permanent Contract Hybrid working model (8 days per month) Flexible working hours Ticket Restaurants (9 eur per day) Health Insurance Company support on public transportation Annual Bonus and Share base plans Collaborative environment Dynamic and Respectful Workplace Our selection process : 1) Application,2) HR interview,3) Hiring Manager interviews and4) Online assessment (30min) Click here to get all the tips to be fully prepared: If you're excited about the role and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment with challenging projects which drive impact for a sustainable future, we encourage you to apply Deep dive into Prysmian and check the below insightful links: Discover more positions globally : Your application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.If you believe you require assistance to complete this form or to participate in an interview, please let us know.
