Workshop Technician page is loaded## Workshop Technicianlocations: Formello, Italytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R******Work Flexibility: Onsite**The Job's Mission:**The Workshop Technician is primarily responsible for the correct repair of customer and Stryker equipment, as well as movement of stock between repair status areas, handling of incoming calls into the department, restocking of consumables and liaising with the Customer service team.The Workshop Technician will utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of loan equipment and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.The Workshop Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the overall status of Stryker equipment.The Workshop Technician improves quality by offering suggestions, acting to meet customer's needs,implementing Quality/Process improvements, and following standard work to deliver on Stryker Technical Services.Find out more about our Orthopaedic Instruments and Endoscopy products via the links:Endoscopy:Orthopaedic Instruments:**Essential duties & responsibilities:** (detailed description)* Manage daily workload within the workshop to meet demand plans and customer needs* Ensure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner as defined by the Team lead or Supervisor* Work with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipment* Responding to customer and internal queries in a timely, efficient and professional manner* Provide reporting and documentation on all aspects of work within the workshop* Assist with ERP Data entry, quoting and repair of customer equipment* Maintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development* Ensure that Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agents* Ensure that the department's performance of services is ISO **** compliant* Support Team and Individual continuous improvement initiatives to drive higher standards of efficiency and quality* Provide Technical support for both internal and external customers* Ensure efficient maintenance of the spare parts stock and participate in the realization of the required annual inventories* Provide reporting on repair, departmental or customer activity using the appropriate systems available**Education & special trainings:*** Fluent in Local Language as well as minimum level of English* Educational requirements per country specific regulations* Educated to degree level is preferable with experience in at least one of the following: + Electrical / Mechanical Engineering + Medical Physics + Service and maintenance of medical equipment + Customer service**Qualifications & experience:*** Previous experience of maintenance and repair of medical equipment preferred* Experience ERP systems and data entry* Full Driver's license**Physical & mental requirements:*** Exerting up to 25 kilos of force occasionally and/or up to 10 kilos of force constantly to move objects* Coordination of eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention ability* Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep documentation* Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment* Ability to think independently, use sound judgment, prioritize, make quick decisions and problem-solve* Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments* May involve exposure to chemicals, solvents, and cleaning detergents* May require to wear personal protective equipmentLearn more about Stryker: **About Stryker** Stryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies and together with our customers, we are driven to make healthcare better.The Company offers a diverse array of innovative medical technologies, including reconstructive, medical and surgical, and neurotechnology and spine products to help people lead more active and more satisfying lives.Stryker products and services are available in over 100 countries.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.Travel Percentage: 20%#J-*****-Ljbffr
