Job Description - Sales Manager (HOT0C5HM) Job Description Job Number:HOT0C5HMWork LocationsHilton Lake Como Via BORGOVICO 241 Lombardia/Como Como IT *****A Sales Manager analyses local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, suggest and implement hotel sales plans aligned with business objectives, leveraging these plans to drive sales efforts across all market segments, including Leisure, Groups, and Meetings & EventsEstablish, maintain, and expand relationships with a strong emphasis on key leisure accounts, particularly within luxury consortiaCoach, mentor, and guide the sales team to strengthen their skills, encourage collaboration, and boost overall performanceManage RFPs and lead contract negotiations for FITs, wholesalers, and high-end travel agenciesCollaborate closely with the Groups, Meetings & Events Department to generate and convert business for groups, congresses, and social events, mainly weddingsProactively prospect and generate new business with a strong focus on international markets through outbound calls, client visits, Fam Trips, trade shows, and roadshowsAct as a role model and inspire the hotel team through leading by exampleQualificationsHighly skilled in all modes of communication: spoken, written, and non-verbalAbility to adapt to shifting business priorities and varying market focusesProficiency in maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure, including tight deadlines and demanding travel schedulesOperate both independently on travel arrangements and sales planning, and collaboratively within the team to drive business conversionFluency in Italian and English; proficiency in other languages is an assetExperience in a sales role with the proven ability to drive resultsCommitted to the highest standards of quality and performanceSelf-motivated and self-driven with a proactive approachBackground in lifestyle or luxury hospitality is a plusAdditional Desired SkillsKnowledge of the local marketKnowledge of hospitality industryA passion for hospitality and target-based performanceRelevant degree in sales, business development, hospitality or other relevant business field from an academic institutionWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.For nearly a century, Hilton has offered business and leisure travelers the finest in accommodations, service, amenities and value.Hilton is dedicated to continuing its tradition of providing exceptional guest experiences across its global brands.Our vision "to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality" unites us as a team to create remarkable hospitality experiences around the world every day.And, our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it all#J-*****-Ljbffr
