LHHFor our client, a multinational company leader in its sector, we are looking for a Mission Planning System Engineer.ResponsibilitiesTheMission Planning System Engineeris an expert in designing and implementing Mission Planning System solutions for Ground Segment of new constellations in different domains, e.g. Earth Observation, Optical Communication.The Mission Planning System is in charge of generating the Mission Plan for the elaboration of the satellite Telecommands verifying the Mission Constraints, e.g. Power, Thermal, Guidance, Platform and Payloads constraints.The Mission Planning System Engineer shall have hands-on experience (at least 5-7 years working experience) designing and coordinating the development of Mission Planning System solutions for satellite missions in different domains.Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and should be familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology.Activities/ResponsibilitiesAnalysing the mission requirements and mission constraints to determine the satellite models to be adopted.To design, coordinate the development of software solutions for Mission planning system also in big constellation scenarios.To analyse and integrate external satellite models (e.g. external guidance libraries) into the Mission Planning systemTo contribute to the technical project documentation (such as Requirements Documents, Operations Concept Document, Operations Engineering Plan, User and Administration Manual, Test Procedures, etc.)To assist in project reviews if/when requiredYour ProfileCompetenciesProven Knowledge of flight dynamicsProven Experience in Mission Planning system design and implementationSoftware Design PrinciplesExperience in Microservices applications designKnowledge of Programming Languages: Java, PythonKnowledge of security coding standards (OWASP, CWE/SANS)Knowledge of Container Orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)Master's Degree in Aerospace, Automation and Information Engineering (5 years) with competences in flight dynamicsPHD in Aerospace matters is appreciatedHigh-level written and verbal English communication skillsQuality standards and provisionsFurther Skills:Knowledge about configuration management domain (GIT, GITLAB, etc)Knowledge of software security mechanisms (encryption, signature)Experience in Multiple technology stacks application developmentExperience in system engineering, design and modellingWhat We Offer:A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hoursHybrid working (onsite and off-site)Comprehensive health insuranceMeal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programsFree access to online learning platform with courses from top universitiesOpportunities for international experiencesSettore: AltroRuolo: IT/Technology
