Deputy Compliance Monitoring & Support Mgr (Open also to Protected Categories – Law *****)Location: Vergiate, ItalyThales people architect solutions that enable two-thirds of planes to take off and land safely.Vergiate hosts Avionics (AWS) domain, providing front-desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, and technical support for aircraft developers, operators and maintenance centers.JOB OBJECTIVEThe Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager for Thales Italia S.p.A. – Avionics Domain and Avionics Global Services – VERGIATE will work in collaboration with Vergiate's Quality Manager and be responsible for maintaining aeronautical certification for the Vergiate Site as an EASA Part-145/FAA Part-145/TCCA CAR 573/CAA UK Part-145 approved Repair Station (AS****/AS****/ISO...) and for ensuring proper application of processes and standards.The role also provides operational support to Vergiate's Maintenance Manager on industrialisation and data-management activities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure monitoring of the correct and continuous application of the Site-applicable processes.Execute internal audits and support audits by the relevant authorities to ensure surveillance, renewal and acquisition of new required certifications.Maintain the Documentation system SMS.Ensure Quality Assurance role on support activities.Manage non-conformities (customers' claims, incoming material...) or gaps to internal standards and manage action plans.Support the Ufficio tecnico in activities managing updates and communication of maintenance documentation; manage current and future tools and means in use in the Vergiate repair station.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSQualifications: Engineering Degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical or related discipline.Experience:A first successful experience in aeronautical activities EASA Part-145 or Part-21 is required.Good knowledge in Quality/Safety Management System for aeronautic activities.Other skills:Languages: Italian (Fluent – speaking, reading & writing), English (Fluent – speaking, reading & writing), French (notions) – a plus.Team work & adaptability.Skills in electronics & mechanics – a plus.Computer skills: office suite.Soft skills: rigorous, autonomous, good communication, reactive, proactive, curious, able to synthesize and flexible.EEO STATEMENTThis position is also open to candidates belonging to protected categories as per Italian Law *****.At Thales we provide careers and not only jobs.With 80,000 employees in 68 countries, our mobility policy enables thousands to develop their careers at home and abroad.Great journeys start here – apply now#J-*****-Ljbffr
