STRATEGIC BUYER MANUFACTORING-PARMASettore: AUTOMATION About the client: Our Client is a multinational company, one of the world's largest systems suppliers for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.His portfolio includes machinery and plants as well as advanced process technology, components and comprehensive services.The company has some importants branches in nord Italy.We are looking for the Strategic Buyer Manufacturing for the branche of Parma.About the role:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BUYER to be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for our business.The buyer, reporting to the HEAD OF PROCUREMENT in the PROCUREMENT DIVISION, will work with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand.The STRATEGIC BUYER should be analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices according to budget.Your responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams and management.Role Responsibilities:Works closely with category managers of respective category and project procurement managers implementing the category strategy and linking it into the businessAdapts and implements catalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional level in compliance with guidelinesRuns negotiations, awarding decisions and follow-up with suppliers, takes awarding decisions in line with category strategyExecutes supplier selection along strategy, requirements, supplier base development, and identification of new suppliersDirect involvement in and solving of issues with suppliers (e.g., quality, delivery, and service issues), etc.Research of new technologies, materials on request of other company functions (technical office, R&D, production office);Monitors and communicates performance of suppliersEnsures cost, availability, innovation, and quality within the sourcing plan creation and executionEnsures compliance with procurement process, policies, and other statutory requirements within categoryAccountability of KPI's as agreed by the line managerKey Accountabilities:Partner in designing increments of procurement strategyTeam leader operational and service manufacturing buyersProactive and value-added approach in the supply chain processes management and with stakeholdersContinuously optimizes procurement processes in scope of workContinuous improvement of processesWe require:University, bachelor's degree in engineering / Secondary school diploma in technical fieldProcurement or Supply chain Certification (optional)English (fluent)5+ years of experience in procurement processesBackground in contract managementBackground in quality managementCost analysis and management experienceDeep knowledge of design to cost project related to welded construction, CNC & CarpentryInter-Cultural SensitivityExperience with implementation of corporate procurementWork experience in complex organizationsNegotiation experience across the supplier marketsMarket analysis experienceAbility to network and build lasting relationshipsInternal stakeholder /supplier relationship managementAnalytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategicallyTakes ownership of the work, successes, and mistakesVery good communication skillsContract and contract framework experienceCommercial/analytical and engagement skillsProactivity and result orientationAvailability for short tripsKnowledge of technical drawingExcellent knowledge of Office and Excel;We offer:Interesting Salary Package: around ****** Euro gross salary + MboCareer DevelopmentWork experience in modern, complex and challenging ,international organization;Place of work: Parma (Emiia Romagna)Sede: PARMACodice: AC*******
