Employer Steelco S.p.A – HQ Location Via Balegante 27Riese Pio X (TV)ItalyDepartmentPurchasingType of workFull timeType of contractUnlimitedSteelco and Belimed have joined forces to lead the way in advanced cleaning and sterile workflow solutions.This partnership is powered by our united strengths: a dynamic product range, relentless innovation, utmost reliability, and an unmatched commitment to customer satisfaction.As SteelcoBelimed, we "Innovate with confidence", as we set new industry standards to meet our customer's needs offering high-quality products and comprehensive services for Infection Control and Life Science.Your Tasks & ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Buyer is responsible both for setting and developing the strategy for a specific group or category and managing the associated suppliers.This includes overseeing the entire external supply chain from the supplier to production and actively searching for optimization potential in order to reduce procurement costs, as well as ensuring that procurement processes align with the project's needs and goals.Task & ResponsabilitiesLead/coordinate negotiation of all major project purchases in commodities defined, utilizing available department resources as assigned by supervisor and working within business-unit.Leads and directs the operational buyer and carries the responsibility for the level of inventory in the commodity group/category.Elaboration and enforcement of supplier contracts (NDA, quality agreements, business agreements, etc.) in the international environment with service and development partners.Management of the supplier portfolio in the commodity group/category incl.supplier market analysis, benchmarks and price negotiations.Project related execution of RFQs, purchase price analysis and negotiations including "Supplier first evaluation".Responsible for achieving targets such as purchasing savings and inventory targets of the commodity group/category.Perform supplier audit together with RA/QA.Create monthly key performance indicators (KPI), evaluate and derive measures.Perform annual risk analysis of key suppliers.Actively support the plants (Manufacturing) in finding solutions to supplier issues to enable these departments to achieve their delivery targets.Support by solving complex complaints with suppliers and delivery problems.Actively support R&D to successfully launch new products based on existing or new suppliers.Maintain key supplier and material master data.Strive for internal process improvements and best practices.Ensure suppliers are prepared for production and handle deliverables including all needed system updates.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.Create, document and implement standards to help guide the improvement program.Work with PM to decline supplier's operation plan.Your ProfileEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and communication skills even in difficult situations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, ERP system SAP, Purchasing processes, negotiation strategies and data analysis.Fluent in English and able to communicate at all levels in the organization.Problem solving, proactive, energetic and good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task are abilities needed to do the job properly.Essential in this position are a cooperative, diplomatic and flexible attitude, a good dose of ambition and enthusiasm.Flexible regarding travel.Experience & Background3 years of experience in managing a supplier portfolio or a technical product group in production company.Project management experience of international projects.Work experience in an international company.Previous experience in purchasing of complex technical products such as pumps, fans, pneumatic components, etc.Our OfferWork in an international, fast-growing industry that makes a real impact on healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.Be part of an innovative and open-minded team.Join a company with a strong reputation and long-standing expertise in cleaning and disinfection solutions.We offer a people-focused work environment, with dedicated benefits and welfare initiatives.Ready to make an impact?Apply now and join our teamThe personal data contained in your resume will be processed by Steelco S.p.A., with registered office in Riese Pio X – TV, Via Balegante 27 ("Company"), for the selection process relating to this position or other similar positions.Detailed information, including information on the rights recognized by the legislation on the protection of personal data, can be found in the information notice available on the Company's website on the "Careers" page (/).#J-*****-Ljbffr
