Site Quality Manager (m/f/d)Join to apply for the Site Quality Manager (m/f/d) role at Hitachi Energy.In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading and monitoring all quality work during site execution to ensure we satisfy customer expectations within the scope of Hitachi Energy in HVDC converter stations in Italy and abroad.This includes works undertaken internally in addition to the work performed by our subcontractors and/or partners as required for the project.The position is a site based position requiring the presence of the person on the construction site based in Italy.How You'll Make An ImpactReview contractual and local requirements applicable to site quality; review contractor quality plans to ensure alignment with e Project Quality Plans and the customer requirements.Provide Quality Induction training to the site personnel.Ensure that Quality Control processes are fully implemented and continuously monitored; ensure that inspection / testing during Civil, Mechanical & Electrical erection and Commissioning are conducted, documented, checked and validated as per the quality control system; ensure that the completion system, deviation, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System, CCRP system and any other Quality tools are fully deployed at site and that the users are adequately trained with the support of the completion manager.Follow up completion system at site having an overview of status in regard to inspections, certifications and all outstanding works including punch list.Provide Quality related site KPIs to the stakeholders whenever required.Participate in internal and contractor quality audits as per the Site Quality audit program.Monitor contractor compliance with Quality requirements and follow up contractor corrective actions when-ever required.Support Co QP reporting processes at site according to HVDC processes.Your BackgroundTechnical/Engineering/Quality management education.5+ year construction quality site experience or in operations.Track record and proven capability in Change Management, managing internal project/program in large and complex organization.SO**** knowledge.Capacity to communicate, result oriented, speed in execution, openness and listen to others.Fluent in English and Italian, both written and oral.Willing to be relocated at project site location.More About UsWe offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.Wide range of benefits: health insurance, pension fund, welfare.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.Over three billion people depend on our technologies to power their daily lives.With over a century in pioneering mission-critical technologies like high-voltage, transformers, automation, and power electronics, we are addressing the most urgent energy challenge of our time – balancing soaring electricity demand, while decarbonizing the power system.Headquartered in Switzerland, we employ over 50,000 people in 60 countries and generate revenues of around \$16 billion USD.We welcome you to apply today.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesAppliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing and IT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Hitachi Energy by 2x.
