Senior Operations Engineer, AMZL Process Engineering Job ID: ******* | Amazon.com Services LLCAmazon Logistics (AMZL) is undergoing growth at an unprecedented level on a global scale.Our logistics teams are changing the way we interact with customers around the globe every single day and solving some of the biggest logistical challenges facing not just Amazon, but the entire industry.In order to meet the needs of millions of customers worldwide in an environment where speed is of the essence, we are consistently looking for the next breakthrough or innovation which will disrupt the delivery business and enable a step change in the way millions of customers get their orders.Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to support the Process Engineering team.This individual will be the owner of a process/product roadmap and ensuring delivery to the vision of the next generation of AMZL delivery station.This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazons growth to drive end to end product delivery from inception to execution.We are looking for a hands-on leader with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.To be successful in this role you will need to be able to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies.You will work with organizations such as Worldwide (WW) Engineering and Design, WW Tech SME, Last Mile Delivery and Tech as well as Operations and Safety to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap.You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery station.ResponsibilitiesInitiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products.Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.Lead execution of the product with high level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap.Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution.Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.30% travel based on business needs.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupationExperience developing and designing equipmentExperience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systemsExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related STEM fieldOperations Management/Distribution Center experience with direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projectsExperience with Six Sigma and/or Lean ManufacturingExperience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet programsExperience with design and/or implementation automation solutions, such as conveyors, sorters, high speed manufacturing and packaging lines, robotic work cellsProven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.For more information, please visit .This position will remain posted until filled.Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.#J-*****-Ljbffr
