Regional Planning & Logistics Supervisor - EMEA Join to apply for the Regional Planning & Logistics Supervisor - EMEA role at Novartis Italia.Summary The Regional Planning & Logistics Supervisor - EMEA is responsible for generating optimal distribution plans for RLT products for the EMEA Region, balancing risk and cost based on available production capacity.The role also includes supplier management activities such as CAPA investigations, supplier risk assessments, qualification and validation activities, and implementation of logistics projects in accordance with global/local SOPs and GxP regulations.About The RoleMajor accountabilitiesDevelop an optimal distribution strategy with proactive planning, appropriate lead-time, to ensure compliance and continuity of RLT supplies, with a strong emphasis on customers' needs, data integrity and accuracy.Maintain close collaboration with country level stakeholders and global SC teams, including the RLT Control Tower and order management teams, and applicable manufacturing site teams to develop processes for the optimal distribution of RLT products.Identify, assess, and proactively communicate distribution risks and elaborate contingency plans as appropriate with proper mitigation strategies to ensure distribution continuity.Work with suppliers on routing plans to improve performance metrics, including on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction.Lead action plans to achieve delivery performance targets and drive continuous improvement.Develop processes in a cross-functional manner related to the improvement of logistics operations.Responsible for quality events, investigation of incidents, CAPA implementation, qualifications and validations, implementation of SOPs, change control management and risk assessments relating to logistics processes jointly with partner functions.Coordinate with Production and Quality departments to ensure the relevant activities are completed in line with the production needs.Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory and quality requirements within the area of responsibility.Essential RequirementsScientific/Engineering/Supply Chain Management degree.Previous solid experience in a similar role within the supply chain/logistics/planing environment of a global organization.Fluent in Italian and English.Desirable RequirementsPrevious experience within the healthcare industry.Familiarity with supply chain, planning and logistics of radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations.Why Novartis:Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.It takes a community of smart, passionate people like you.Collaborating, supporting and inspiring each other.Combining to achieve breakthroughs that change patients' lives.Ready to create a brighter future together?Benefits and Rewards:Read our handbook to learn about all the ways we'll help you thrive personally and professionally: Job DetailsSenior level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
