Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:EHS ManagerAbout this opportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join us as EHS Manager at our plant in Parma, Italy.The Crown Parma plant produces aluminium beverage cans, operating 7/7, 24h/24h on a continuous shift system.The role reports to the Plant Manager and functionally to the EHS Manager for Crown Bevcan EMEA.You will handle the Environment, Health & Safety responsibilities for the plant, ensuring that best practice and statutory obligations are fully met and that a safety culture is developed.Main ResponsibilitiesHealth & SafetyProvide expert advice to Line ManagersPromote best practice to meet statutory requirements while maintaining employee engagementManage and develop the ISO ***** systemManage and ensure compliance with site safety policiesEnsure all employees are competently trained with regards to EHS matters, with a focus on behavioural safetyMonitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with legal requirementsManage and develop the ISO ***** standard system in all its aspectsEnsure safe and correct disposal of all waste streams arising in normal or abnormal situationsCollect relevant data relating to environmental performance and issues, and provide appropriate personnel and authorities with this informationOrganise, co-ordinate and provide support to environmental related projects to reduce waste, solvents and air emissions and related costsInvestigate all incidents, near-misses and accidents, and initiate effective corrective actions if appropriateInvestigate complaints arising from environmental impactsPromote accident prevention activities and devise and communicate One Point Safety lessons, Safety Campaigns and initiatives to enhance Safe Working behavioursCommunicationsDevelop and progress the plant's annual EHS management programme, including project and budget managementCollect all monthly data, statistics and KPIs in respect of EHS for presentation to the Executive TeamReport Management Systems performance and continuous improvement goalsRaise awareness of environment, food hygiene, and health and safety in the plantRequired Education, Experience and SkillsDiploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years working experience at a plant level or in a similar role in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge and working experience of ISO ***** and ISO ***** management systemsRecognised Risk Prevention and Environmental qualificationsWorking knowledge of EHS legislationLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge (Black Belt preferably)Fluent Italian with professional level EnglishCosa vi offre CrownWorking TogetherL'accessibilità, l'equità, la diversità e l'inclusione sono tratti distintivi della cultura "Working Together" di Crown.Il nostro obiettivo è valorizzare e rispettare ogni singolo individuo favorendo un ambiente dove ognuno si senta rappresentato.Il nostro impegno nella promozione della "sicurezza psicologica" che permette a tutti i colleghi di esprimersi in maniera autentica, è un elemento imprescindibile alla creazione del senso di appartenenza a Crown.Functional Area: Environment health and SafetyExperience Level: Experienced professional#J-*****-Ljbffr
