Thélios S.p.A., a company of the LVMH Group, is looking for aSupplier Quality Control Managerto lead a team of 20 professionals ensuring the quality of materials and components for its luxury eyewear products.The role requires strong expertise in quality management, supplier auditing, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement.Job ResponsibilitiesTeam Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20 quality control inspectors and technicians.Set team goals and objectives in alignment with overall quality and business objectives.Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.Ensure adequate staffing levels and resource allocation to meet quality control demands.Supplier Quality Management:Develop and implement supplier quality control procedures and standards.Conduct supplier audits to assess quality management systems and compliance with Thélios' standards.Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.Manage supplier relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues.Quality Control Processes:Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming materials and components.Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of effective solutions.Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and documentation requirements.Continuously improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Reporting and Communication:Prepare and present regular reports on supplier quality performance to the Quality Manager and Direction.Communicate quality-related information to internal stakeholders, including sourcing, production, and engineering teams.Escalate critical quality issues to management as needed.Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.ProfileBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on supplier quality management.Proven experience managing and leading a team.Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO ****).Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).Experience in the automotive or white goods (major appliance) industries is highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.#J-*****-Ljbffr
