Sr.FinOps Analyst - AP, FinOps Lease Abstraction Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sr Lease Abstraction Analyst to join our team.This role is responsible for performing detailed lease document abstraction, quality control, and driving process efficiency initiatives within our lease abstraction operations.Required QualificationsExperience & SkillsExperience in lease abstraction, lease administrationStrong understanding of commercial and retail lease structures and terminologyProficiency in lease abstraction software and toolsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data processingTechnical CompetenciesExperience with lease accounting standardsKnowledge of real estate terminology and lease provisionsFamiliarity with quality control processes and methodologiesUnderstanding of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean preferred)Soft SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesLeadership qualities with mentoring capabilitiesCollaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindsetKey Job ResponsibilitiesLease Document AbstractionPerform comprehensive abstraction of lease documents, extracting key terms, conditions, and critical data pointsAnalyze complex lease agreements to identify and capture essential information including rent schedules, lease terms, renewal options, and special provisionsEnsure accurate data entry and documentation in accordance with established standards and proceduresHandle high-volume lease processing while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailQuality Control & ReviewConduct thorough quality control reviews of completed lease abstractionsIdentify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in abstracted dataProvide detailed feedback and recommendations for correctionsMaintain quality standards and ensure compliance with client requirements and internal protocolsValidate data accuracy against source documentsProcess Improvement & Defect ManagementIdentify areas of defects and inefficiencies in the lease abstraction processAnalyze root causes of recurring issues and develop corrective action plansDrive process efficiency projects to streamline operations and improve productivityCollaborate with team members to implement best practices and standardized proceduresDocument process improvements and maintain updated procedural guidelinesAdditional ResponsibilitiesMentor and provide guidance to junior team membersParticipate in training programs and knowledge sharing sessionsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of lease accounting standards and industry best practicesSupport special projects and initiatives as assignedBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B.
