This role focuses on theapplicationlayersupporting enterprise-gradeweb hosting&critical services , ensuring high availability, security & performance across a large-scale infrastructure. Field: national provider ofcloud ,hosting ,domain registration ,data center&trust services(includingcertified email / PEC )Key ResponsibilitiesOperate & maintain theELK/Kafka -based log ingestion & search stack, ensuringhigh availability , scaling & fine-tuning (topics, partitions, shards, indices, ILM, retention)Proactivelymonitor capacity&performance ; analyzemonthly reports&trendstoforecast growth&prevent incidentsEngineer & optimizeLogstashpipelines,Grokpatterns & parsing/transport paths; reprocess failed events & reduce parsing failure ratesImplementpatch management , address end-of-life scenarios & applysecurity fixesaccording to guidelines provided by the Security functionMaintainobservability dashboards&metrics( Grafana / Elastic ) & improvealerting fidelityAdminister & optimizeapplication servers&reverse proxycomponents, includingNginx ,ApacheServer,Tomcat&WildFly , ensuring scalability & resilienceConfigure & maintainreverse proxy&load balancingfor high-traffichosting environmentsRequirementsSolid hands-on experience administeringELKecosystems at scale, includingKafka/Zookeeper ,Logstash ,Elasticsearchcluster sizing & tuningStrongLinuxsystems administration ( Ubuntu ,CentOS / RHEL ,Debian ) in clustered HA environments; working knowledge ofMicrosoft Windows Server *********as neededStrong expertise inNginx(reverse proxy, SSL termination, caching) &Apache ServerconfigurationHands-on experience withTomcat&WildFly& troubleshooting application-level issuesKnowledge ofload balancing ,high availability clustering&performance tuningfor web hosting platformsIaC:Ansible(roles, inventories, AWX) &Terraformfor provisioning & drift controlCI/CD & versioning:GitLabFamiliarity withITILprocesses (Incident/Change/Service Request) & ticketing viaJIRAClear technical writing for run books & operational documentationLocation: completelyfull remote– Italy-basedFreelancersare highly welcomed tooCandidates ofany gender identity , after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV inPDFformat, quoting the reference number (Ref.--- ).
