Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company dedicated to advancing sustainable impact and empowering the people who make water work every day.As a leading water technology company with 23,000 employees operating in over 150 countries, Xylem is at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges.We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.THE ROLEWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who performs design maintenance on different ranges of products released to Manufacturing and launched on the Market.Becomes reference product technician for developing customer-driven customizations, for solving production problems and field problems, for maintaining regulatory compliance and for product improvement.Contributes to product value engineering and cost reduction activities, as well as to increase of process productivity.Principal ResponsibilitiesAnalyze mechanical design and FEA simulation, going through project steps such as design and calculations / simulations, prototypes and testing, technical validation and 3D / 2D drawings execution and release.Analyze electrical aspects of motors for product customization and feasibility.Support accomplish Customer needs assessing product feasibility, product customization and providing dedicated drawings and documentation.Develop special product configurations to meet specific requirements, including meeting and discussing solutions with large customers such as OEM business.Support to process product certification requirements and to release resulting changes to production.Elaborate Engineering Change Requests for product / quality improvement and process improvement.Participate in team activities for product value addition, cost reduction, increase of productivity.Participate in team activities to solve product failures generated in-house and in the field, also to identify potential requirements for product improvements in future designs.Support with product technical data and informations both final Customer and internal customers.Provide general technical guidance to other employees.Key CompetenciesContinuous Improvement MindsetProduction ProcessesCross-boundary collaborationSystem ThinkingInspiring AccountabilityProduct DevelopmentMechanical DesignRequired QualificationsMechatronic engineering or Energy engineering or Mechanical engineering degree (3 years Degree or 5 years Degree).5 years experience in mechanical industry in a similar positionsGood spoken and written English and Italian.Knowledge of CAD 3D software (Pro.Engineer preferred).Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (including Database e.g. Power BI).CONTRACTPermanentLOCATIONMontecchio Maggiore (VI)BENEFITScompany canteen and company bonusJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.Our products impact public utilities, industrial sectors, residential areas, and commercial buildings, with a commitment to providing smart metering, network technologies, and advanced analytics for water, electric, and gas utilities.Partner with us in creating a world where water challenges are met with ingenuity and dedication; where we recognize the power of inclusion and belonging in driving innovation and allowing us to compete more effectively around the world.#J-*****-Ljbffr
