Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of e-Commerce and Advertising, offering a range of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping customers discover and shop for anything they want to buy.Advertising is an extension of the shopping experience and, as consumers watch more video than ever, a viewing revolution is underway that changes how people consume video and connect with brands.The Amazon Advertising business is growing at a fast pace and this team's mission is to apply technology to accelerate that growth through best-in-class software engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence.We are part of the Sales Technology team within Global Sales Operations and aim to deliver best-in-class products and data solutions to improve Amazon Advertising Sales team effectiveness worldwide.We build sales-enablement products for Amazon Advertising front-line sales teams, ensuring they have all the information about customers and their upsell potential at their fingertips and are not wasting time on inefficiencies.The team is looking for motivated technical program managers.In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end.You will collect business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, write specifications, drive project schedules from design to release, and manage the production launch.You will lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts between internal teams to develop optimal solutions for new features, verticals, and markets.You will make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.The right candidate will possess a strong technical and program management background, have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and have a well-rounded technical background in current audio device technologies.You must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and be able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives while also rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.As a Senior TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.You will take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesDrive execution of projectsProvide technical direction with limited assistanceLead cross functional project meetingsLead milestone reviewsPresent project status to the executive teamManage project builds globallyKey Job Responsibilities10+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industryBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical fieldExperience with delivering high volume e-commerce featuresExperience with managing the introduction of new technologiesExperience coordinating cross functional teamsKnowledge of software development process and lifecyclesBasic Qualifications7+ years of working directly with engineering teams5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teamsExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definitionPreferred Qualifications5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical-path management experienceExperience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPIs / SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
