Operations Program Manager, Companion Products & Services (ComPAS) Job ID: ******* | Amazon Innovation Center (Shenzhen) Company LimitedThe Operations Program Manager will work within the ComPAS (Accessories) Operations group to develop the next generation of Amazon devices and accessories.The OPM will engage and work cross functionally across Engineering, Product Management, and Operations functions.The OPM will balance a mix of strategic, programmatic, and operational responsibilities to optimize new product cost, quality, and time to market.The individual is expected to work cross functionally to build consensus among the cross functional team and leadership.The individual will have experience in New Product Introduction in an Operations/Manufacturing role pertaining to Consumer Electronics (or similar) and have proven communications skills and ability to influence.Key job responsibilitiesDrive product development across internal teams and external development/manufacturing partners as the Single Threaded Owner for Operations.Develop manufacturing and supply chain strategies to meet product requirements.Support product concept development as Operations lead.Execute development builds by overseeing technical issue resolution and production schedule on site at manufacturing location.Regular written and verbal communication to Leadership.Coordinate information flow across teams in support of manufacturing/operations.Drive alignment of processes and initiatives throughout Device Operations organization.Define and guide decisions on type of Variable Engagement Module (VEM) appropriate for the specific product, customer need, and launch schedule.Bring in and incorporate industry best practices into the Product Operations group.Ability to travel up to 25% to support development build and other job functions.A day in the lifeIn a typical day, an OPM performs a mix of tactical and strategic activities like deep diving to solve complex engineering and supply chain issues and driving a sourcing strategy that supports the development of new products.About the teamWe are a team of self-driven individuals with laser focus on launching innovative devices that delight our customers and enable downstream revenue for Amazon.We provide product operations leadership to and manage across all functions.We are the supply-chain partners to the broader Amazon Devices organization and work collaboratively to drive product roadmaps and portfolio direction.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experienceExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred QualificationsExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesExperience working cross-functionally and across regions4+ years of driving process improvements experience5+ years' experience in consumer electronics device operations, throughout the product life cycle from concept to end-of-life.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
